Beeline Creative: 13" talking Pulp Fiction figures

FYI BBTS has all the deets, including sayings, accessories, etc.

Beeline Creative: 13" talking Pulp Fiction figures

I'd buy them for a few bash parts (where else are you going to get a Jimmie outfit, with mug?) if no one else does the real thing, but I'm hoping the "13" size & talking feature" means they've split the license and someone is doing high-end REAL 1:6 figs. These look like they belong in...

1/6 Hot Toys – MMS355 - Guardians of the Galaxy: Drax The Destroyer Collectible Figu

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys – MMS - Guardians of the Galaxy: Drax The Destroyer Collectible Figu Word from sdcc scuttlebutt is that it's a WWE licensing issue in that Vince owns Batista likeness rights & is denying use. Not sure I buy it because a) why wouldn't this affect Hasbro product too, and b)...

Removing hot toys wolverine last stand jacket?

I need the underlying body for a custom but have so far been unable to remove his jacket. Zipper only goes down to first yellow seam across the chest. Got belt buckle off and that loosened it the waist a bit but looking for tips from those who've achieved this with success. Thanks!

1/6 Hot Toys -- Guardians of the Galaxy - Groot & Rocket

Has anyone checked to see if the baby roots come out of the pots? Feel like the first pics of the non-dancing version had no pot.

1/6 Hot Toys -- Guardians of the Galaxy - Groot & Rocket

That's interesting. My buddy who ordered the exclusive was told his order shipped on Friday, so he's supposed to have it this week.

Phone CS says they do have a policy, although it's not the one they're using on this item.

1/6 Hot Toys -- Guardians of the Galaxy - Groot & Rocket

Personally, I do care - I don't place pre-orders with NRDs to get stuff AFTER everyone else. I don't mind if 50% ship from SS on a Friday and 50% ship on the following Monday, but weeks apart is ridiculous. I get that the dock delays or even HT supply chain may be a factor, but I wish...

1/6 Hot Toys -- Guardians of the Galaxy - Groot & Rocket

Wish SS would get their policies straight. When I flexed the Cap / Rogers set, they shipped to customers who had only paid the NRD and i had to wait a month to get mine. Was told this was policy, although I considered it an unfair policy when they's already gotten 85% of my cash. But I...

    1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 45

Re: Hot Toys - MMS300D11 - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 45 Today is the first time I looked at the price of this figure and I was shocked, came here to see what the consensus is/was. When it comes to manufacturing plastic vs die-cast, I'm not sure the costs are THAT different, especially when...

1/6 Hot Toys – MMS - Guardians of the Galaxy: Gamora Collectible Figure

So this has obviously shipped to preorder buyers a couple weeks ago and retailer customers are getting them too. But SS still has it as a Pre-Order? Why? Are they afraid of this elbow issue or is this just an oversight snafu?

    SSC Green Lantern 1/6 Figure

Gino's Scarlet Witch is mind-boggling. He's really something. I get what people are saying about SS not having full control due to license considerations, but if you do a deal to make 12" Marvel Figures, don't you build that into the deal? And if they won't let you, why bother?* *Again...

    SSC Green Lantern 1/6 Figure

Here's a reason (possibly) why the SS Deadpool is so off model. The movie version is nearly exactly ON MODEL. Pic tweeted by Ryan Reynolds earlier today.

    SSC Green Lantern 1/6 Figure

I don't think we're talking about conforming to a specific artist work, we're talking about using a classic costume. Joe Staton, Mike Grell, Neal Adams, ad nauseum all drew the GL costume slightly differently, but it was the same costume. I know with Marvel if they wanted an Art Adams style...

    SSC Green Lantern 1/6 Figure

Good. Point. If you're going to mod this to a classic Gil Kane costume GL the only really useful parts you couldn't get elsewhere (for less) would be the ring hands.

    SSC Green Lantern 1/6 Figure

Most brands / lines / etc (toy or otherwise) typically come out of the gate with their best foot forward, product-wise, in hopes of garnering the best sales. With Sideshow, they usually release the more popular figures from a license first (Joe, Marvel, Dc to a lesser extent). From there, you...

    SSC Green Lantern 1/6 Figure

I guess I should wade through the thread. Let's agree to not even go there with New 52 - such a non-starter, as Mattel and many others learned the hard way. I don't think there was any question the DC Figs have mostly been comic accurate. I think they had to tweak Harley BC it would be tough...

    SSC Green Lantern 1/6 Figure

Funny that one of the new rules is not to go off topic but the last few posts have all been about Marvel. That said, I really don't think the "Sideshow take" on classic characters is what fans want. Conceptually I understand a figure must have the broadest fan-appeal to sell what you need to...
