InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Gandalf 1:6

The only reason I got the last and final thing I ordered from them is because I opened a case with PayPal and refused to back down on my protections unless I had a full refund or product in hand. I knew the product was out and other retailers were shipping. They were giving me the ‘it hasn’t...

InArt: The Lord of the Rings - Aragorn 1:6

Premium ordered from Kit. Going to sleep on whether I want to be one of those crazy folks ordering one premium and one regular. So very tempting.

Hot Toys - 1/6 Episode II AOTC - Super Battle Droid

Hopefully S3 Mando fights some droidekas so we can get them made.

Hot Toys celebrates Star Wars Return of the Jedi 40th anniversary

I love OG Star Wars and 1/6 Star Wars Hot Toys is what got me back into collecting as an adult. I would love to dream about this announcement. I did for the ESB line. But I feel that RoTJ is the best represented already of recent OG HT SW releases. Also, HT skipped many very iconic possible...

    EXO-6 Star Trek "Voyager" Figures

I think Janeway and Archer are both figures being hindered by the personal preferences of their actors and needing their likeness approval. I am sorry that Bakula and Mulgrew didn’t like those hairstyles, but the characters aren’t them. This is a great go at getting what is her more iconic...

BEST OF 2022 - Star Wars Figures

I am surprised to see multiple people listing the assault tank commander, but no one listing Shoretroopers.

EXO-6 Star Trek “The Motion Picture (TMP)” Figures

I thought being able to use the signature cards as name cards was neat. But Nanjin ruined that across the collection by deciding they are ‘only‘ autograph cards and so we don’t get them for TOS content since not everyone is alive. God forbid people who don’t collect autographs wanted to use...

EXO-6 Star Trek “Deep Space Nine” Figures

I hope sales numbers make Nanjin reconsider the possibility of early season versions of at least the DS9 Starfleet crew. I think he was very dismissive of the idea in part because he is an old school TOS Trekkie at heart.

1/6 Hot Toys -TMS 092 - Obi-Wan Kenobi series: 501st Legion Clone Trooper (Version 2.0)

They don’t get rid of the gap on the ROTJ scout trooper helmet, but they’ll resculpt so many tiny details on this clone. Not like the Kenobi clones have been an iconic figure for 40 years or anything. All I see are a bunch of differences that will prevent them from blending with the dozen or so...

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

Burnham and Saru were already made iirc.

Asmus - Gandalf the White - Crown Line

There’s probably ample numbers of this figure available, as Wor-Gar points out. The only thing throwing this off is that Asmus was ready to ship immediately, but all these other retailers are waiting for the boat with stock. This is similar to the problem Sideshow has had fulfilling Hot Toys...

Asmus - Gandalf the White - Crown Line

If he’s still in stock in January to February, I’ll be getting him. Unfortunately right before US holidays can be a hard time to drop $400+ out of the blue.

SooSoo - 1/6 SST-042 Anna Marie the Variant (Rogue)

She sure went fast for so many criticisms. I wonder how many are resellers that only looked at the higher aftermarket price of Gambit.

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

S1 & S2 of TNG is pretty much off the table at this point, and those are way more important uniforms to the ‘museum’ of Trek history than the DSC Pike variant.

EXO-6 Star Trek "General Discussion" 1/6 Line

He has shot down a lot of suggestions as economically not feasible based on the crystal ball of Trek merchandising, but has continued to pursue some real head scratchers. DSC Pike rates highly as an unnecessary entry on the heels of SNW Pike.

SooSoo - 1/6 SST-042 Anna Marie the Variant (Rogue)

There might still be a possibility of Sideshow teasing something during their 12 days. They could have decided to up their game after being embarrassed by a third party Gambit. More than likely, they hit a supply issue. Last couple SS comic female figures used TBLeague bodies. Additional...

SooSoo - 1/6 SST-042 Anna Marie the Variant (Rogue)

The smile Rogue makes when Sideshow’s Gambit asks her out.

    Probe Droid Premium Format Figure

They do have a comparison shot with the sixth scale for sense of size. Honestly I am impressed enough with my 1/6 that I don’t feel compelled by the premium format. This is the first time I have seen a statue and wish they did it even larger. 1/3 would be an impressive size.

1/6 Hot Toys - Avengers: Endgame - Captain America (Stealth Suit) Figure

I bet this whole process was how they intended to handle Arena Fett if it wasn’t for the early posting mistake. The sad thing is that Sideshow knows their website and cart system cannot handle orders like this. It gets overwhelmed in similar fashion with ‘Steal the Deal.’ The real fun is when...
