Up on Sideshow for $260. A little less than I expected. Still not sure I need one of these, think I will wait till closer to release.

It's a nice figure for sure. The hands are still sculpted with more detail than ANY of Hot Toys soft looking Fett hands. I was just always disappointed with how the chest armor plates sat on it.

They needed to do this. I never cancelled a figure based on early pictures, but was debating on cancelling this preorder. That sculpt was awful compared to the prototype. The replacement is a stand up move, and surprise. They must have seen a ton of cancellations.

From a marketing point it's pointless to pit him in the flight suit, and make him look as close as possible to OT Fett. From day one Star Wars has always been about selling toys and refreshing the look of characters. It's always about the marketing. Sideshow's Mythis Fett is now selling well...

With the demise of the comics industry, and the pop culture movie industry that drive their sales, they are just alienating their most loyal customers. Their pricing, shipping, and attitude are just sealing their fate. Their last live event was unwatchable covering the same stuff every day...

Wow...24 hours later and sold out at Alterego, waitlist at Timewalker Toys. I am thinking retailers are being conservative with the current climate. Who knows where anyone will be in 2 years. Hot Toys needs to solicit items closer to release. If it's about production numbers and forecasts...

Resales will probably be a loss with fees at this point, prices have been dropping. Better to just cancel. Not too many figures are like the Mark 47 anymore. I bought it as I love Tron and Iron Man and think it will look cool in my collection.

My mistake....I just checked my musuem pose a1, and you are right they are almost the same. I guess I forgot with the vanilla pose I have that one in and just wanted to pose the gladiator differently, and I don't like how the bent arm looks.
