Looks like an older Sideshow piece to me from the pictures presented, which isn't all terrible. I'd like to see an outside shot (lighting) or him standing next to Sideshow's ED2 Ash.
The whole figure is accurate and it also has the actor's likeness. Just wait to SDCC when Trevor says on video that they do have his likeness rights so all the nerds who don't think the figure is the real thing, can get it through their thick skulls that the figure is not a custom. The mask is...
Don't know if anyone is aware, but Threezero sneak peaked a picture render of Baroness as a next reveal at Joecon. I can't say the render looked any better than the Sideshow Baroness.
Do you have the figure in hand to call it an "interpretation" likeness? The pictures of it looked pretty darn good, not perfect, but good. Even Judith Hoag's likeness isn't spot on, but she is also signed too. You seem to be grasping at straws here.
I'm pretty sure it's illegal to produce the tatsu without his likeness rights to do so. Considering the actor was already paranoid about his image used on a figure, He would sue the **** out of NECA for it. I think a lot of people refuse to give NECA the credit for finally getting him to sign...
I get the complaints about figures not looking 100% exactly like an actor, but the sculpt looks like the Actor/Tatsu and I guarantee Neca signed him or otherwise it wouldn't happen. Neca has said over and over they need his likeness to make him...Guess we'll find out soon at SDCC.....
yes they did have the likeness of the actor playing shredder and his mask is purposely removable to see his likeness. Even Randy publicly said so when talking with pixel Dan. Neca does has the Tatsu likeness. They can't make the figure without it. Whether or not the sculpt is "perfect" or not, I...
Pretty sure they have the Actor's approval. His son has been saying his dad was getting a figure a year ago or so. Neca has done everything else with actor's rights.
