Hi Asmus
I have to respectfully disagree. I am not being negative and I have pre-ordered the figure so don't hate me!
I too have the 1:1 prop and I have the ACI version - compared with the Asmus Aragorn eleven knife (bottom) from a few years ago:
I also hope you were able to see this:
If Asmus happen to read this, is it possible to look at the straps on your scabbard. Here is a picture from tankgirlfuzzy showing how the straps should be:
I'm not a massive fan of the headsculpt but the clothing and weapons look great (even though his chainmail is broken!)
This picture has sold it for me - placed an order with Asmus.
Never ordered from them before - the price seemed pretty cheap when converted to pound sterling.
Any UK residents...
I'm currently in the middle of rewatching all the films and all the making ofs and I've seen a lot of Viggo's face in the last few days - I do appreciate that Asmus listen to feedback and they truly do want to create an accurate sculpt - but this does not look like Viggo. His facial features...
Cheers :) The gold is a very thin piece of metal cut to size and bent into shape. I got it from a craft shop.
I love attention to detail. I've tried my best to get my whole figure as accurate as possible.
That looks great.
Interesting point I spotted in the film when Legolas tries to take down the berserker carrying the torch - the arrows that hit him near the shoulders are regular Elven arrows not his Lothlorien ones.
If you raise the headsculpt up slightly on its neck peg, you should be able to display the cape folds.
I know Lucky does sew the folds into his capes and they can be very accurate so it seems a shame not to display them.
