I'm not sure about upscaling the regular figures, but for IM figures, I think it started with the diecast re-releases of the old suits (after the Mark III). I have the Mark XLII from IM 3, and that's still about 12" tall. I think the diecast Mark IV/VI were some of the first ones much larger...

Ah, Master Replicas... That's a name I've not heard in a long time. I loved their FX lightsabers and lightsaber replicas (I've still got a few of them).

I actually like the battle damaged helmet (full disclosure, I preordered the Black Widow last year with the useless exclusive shield...). A battle damaged sculpt would be great, but worst case, you could have her unmasked and holding the helmet. And I like that they included a broken hammer...

Voted Other... I agree with a lot of the other ones listed, but the big gripes I have are around scale- figures that keep getting taller, inconsistent neck peg sizes/heights/styles (which means head sculpts can't be swapped easily for different figures of the same character), female figures...
