im surprised it’s releasing already too. day one preordered and date says 6/20/22, just over a year ago. for such a unique figure (compared to another trooper / mando etc) i could’ve seen this one taking a while, pleasantly surprised.

every pic / video i see im even more convinced this is one of the greatest of all time headsculpts

nope, always have to press pretty hard to put the sculpt on but then it just comes down to posture / posing. no mods or anything.

photo of the 1/4th scale from FB… still so frustrated they didnt include the sculpt with the 1/6th version. it’s significantly different from the sarlacc one.

i always think it would be cool if they made a mix&match “covert mandalorian” that comes with a few different helmet / shoulder / chest etc options so you could army build a bunch of them. doubt theyd ever do it but would be a good way to represent all the unnamed mandos we saw…

NO WAY. awesome news. maybe howard saw the movie and realized this figure / character deserved better. either that or there were about 6 total preorders for this guy in the state he was. whatever convinced them, glad to see it. this couldve been a slippery slope and set a new lower standard...

it’s been weeks and i still get pissed every time this thing crosses my mind. so frustrating, a well executed version would easily be one of my most wanted figures.

I’ve been thinking about this too, people who decide they want the whole set in 5+ years are going to be like “WTH… why are hunter and echo so much easier to find than the rest?”

could just be recency bias but this might be the most frustrated i’ve ever been by one of hot toys decisions. it was so close to perfect, all it needs is a printed fabric suit to hide the seams. why go through all the trouble making the new proportions / accessories and stop there. sure, if...
