Oh, I definitely bought it. Pre-ordered it the moment it came up on sideshow. I just know that some of you are very creative in finding solutions to these type of issues, so I was checking in to see if anyone had. I have tried lifting the collar and it helps somewhat.

Yeah, they had a good Vader, but flawed, figure with the 40th anniversary version and they just keep reusing it. They could at least redo the helmet. If they upsized the vintage collection OWK Bader helmet it would look so much better.

I actually think the most recent revision of the SS ROTJ Vader with updated dome actually looks better than the HT ESB & by extension HT ROTJ Vaders.

Hot Toys has a way of making the Vader helmet and proportions look better in their promo photos than it usually does in person. Its the way they use lighting and angles. To really tell the differences, go compare in hand pictures of HT Rogue One Vader (similar to Kenobi Vader) with HT ESB Vader...

I doubt it. With both the hot toys and sideshow versions frequently going on sale, I would imagine that the supply of the existing versions very much outweighs demand.

They had a 20% off coupon for boxers day that made the standard version around $300 shipped if I remember correctly. I got the deluxe version for around $395 shipped (after PayPal’s crappy currency conversion).

From what I gather, a 1/6 scale E.T. would be about 6 inches, maybe slightly over that if his neck is fully extended. Is that right? The neca figures are 4.5 inches so they are 1/8 scale. I am thinking that they might work in a display though would look quite short.
