It is called the treasure hunter head. It was a recast of an MJ Choi head and sold on ebay a few years back. They have become hard to find. There is also a han solo version of the head.

I like the idea of the face masks being somewhat hollow as it will make it much easier to get a neck adapter in there. As for going with true scale or resized, keep in mind that the hot toys body is BIG. I have a Kaiyodo hurricane mask and I think it looks way too small on the stock hot toys...

Recently, I threw Captain Phasma's cape on the sith trooper to have a kinda custom Captain Cardinal. It is not quite accurate but since Cardinal is just a book character, I don't care. The cape really adds some presence to the figure.

Has any of the upgrades included a masked head with modern spawn?

I don?t have this vader but I suspect a a small amount of blue tack will keep it secure. As an example, I put a small amount of blue tack to keep HT Boba?s jet pack secure to the back and I enjoy handling the figure so much more now.

Same for me. First edition and just as good as the day i got it.

The costumes from ESB and ROTJ are pretty much the same. I think the main reason people are holding out is that there is a chance the ROTJ will have a more accurate helmet. The ESB figure has the worst helmet of the Hot Touys Vaders. And a ROTJ Vader would have a full reveal head.

They could have at least updated the helmet. That is the same helmet sculpt right?

I see. I would love to see a pic. I was just looking at my sideshow Lando the other day wishing the head wasn’t so big. I wonder if a body swap to a body with a rubber neck would help with the bobble head thing going on with that figure.
