Yes, this looks like a placeholder graphic that was put up by Sideshow and not an official Hot Toys announcement. I'm assuming it's one of the movie Bats (Batman Returns or Batman and Robin) that is on display at SDCC.

Huh. I honestly just assumed that the 3P0 would be a cheap plastic accessory and not an actual full figure. If this is a legitimate full 2-pack then I am even more excited for it.

There is a good chance that it is contractual. They only showed Paul and MJ, which are the only two 1/6 figures they have been licensed to sell to western markets.

But I guarantee you that the world wide licensing fees that Hot Toys is paying to Warner Bros and Disney are ASTRONOMICAL.

InArt entering into the game has been the best thing to happen to Hot Toys. All these new figures look great.

The theory that they can't (or don't want to) show figures they aren't licensed to sell in the States makes a lot of sense. Why show figures in a high profile market that you can't sell?

I own the InArt version, and I have to admit this sculpt looks better. These production pics make that sculpt look really impressive.

I still really like my ANH Chewie, so I am all in for this.
