As a few others have mentioned, the cloak feels pretty cheap to be honest, it’s also not the right type of pile (too long / spikey), plus sheds as soon as you handle it. I’ve bought some fake fur that resembles bear fur. Should be a pretty easy mod to replicate the pattern and attach the velcro...

For those curious. I gave the cloak a good wash with some warm water / mild soap / white vinegar and water was running clear. Think you might be ok but you never know.

I just masked it off with some paper, easy enough to put some between the sculpt and the hair. Then just used an airbrush applying a few thin coats of Vallejo matt varnish

I was thinking, spraying some hair spray into a cup and using a fine brush to lock the curls / strands in place, thus darkening the hair at the same time?

Yeah I've been keeping my eye on the Sinful Butterfly (Quiet from MGS) 2nd run as that's been on pre-order since 1st release but I fear it will never come back hence the hesitation

Quick upload of my sculpted. Wasn't happy with how glossy the hair looked - sprayed a few coats of matt varnish and now much happier. Have the rooted coming in a few days so will compare and see which one to keep

I would agree, glad they are not milking Jin's character, as much as I love him. Plus having the VTS Ghost keeps my definitive look for him, unlike new outfits per release, which I would want 😅 Can't wait to get in to Yōtei and see what Atsu's story is about.

I now have a hobby heat gun for stuff like this which might be better as it's more controllable than a hair dryer but think when I did this, I just used some hot water. Just be cautious if you are using a heat gun

I have a few Zack's and getting the plug out of the neck was a pain in the ass. I opted for this method on the others, was posted a while back (apologies to the OP as I can't remember the post) but this was far better and much easier, think the ball was 9mm. Much appreciated for the tip 🙏
