So on reflection - I don't think you can remove the earpiece as it's glued in. You have to be super careful when removing the head / harness. I mean you can always glue it back on if it does disconnect as the join isn't really visible. Here is my Big Boss from a few years go re: clothing swap 👍...

Yeah I've gone down the ccfl route so hopefully that comes in soon. I was thinking, has anyone replaced the acrylic rods with off the shelf rods and cut to size? They are super cheap and wouldn't be that hard to do, file down for the peg etc
