One thing to note, the body is quite tall so could be worth swapping out. I did manage to cut down the ankles on the war story one as the body they use was almost as tall as my 1/6 Kratos, so now he's closer the 6'2 he's supposed to be. A few other mods are worth doing such as better magnet...

Ah thank you @synysterfox That's right, I had both versions of the figure. If you are lucky, the Olive Drab version sometimes pop up on eBay. But yeah, was a bit of a big custom to put together, making the suit, swapping body, hollowing out original head sculpt etc

That's a cool bit of kit. I managed to snag a few of the Death Stranding press kits when Kojima was in London but it's no MGS. Sucks about your stuff still in Japan, I have a few things also and can feel your pain.

I actually used a heat gun but very lightly - didn't want to fuse it to the arms too much. I had a layer of plastic wrap between the arm and the tubing to allow for a looser fit when removed. Definitely some scope for experimenting with different types of tube. Not sure if I'm gong to keep this...

It seems figma have trouble getting the face spot on a few of their figs. My MGS Solid Snake always looks a bit derpy. Nevertheless, picked this one up as the rest of it looks great.

That's fantastic and really does give the figure a new lease of life. I've seen that sculpt on eBay and was thinking about getting it but wasn't sure if it was a really inflated price / marked up for what it is (inc postage to UK). Plus I've only just started to get into painting / airbrushing...
