Oh sweet, I have the B&W Bride.

NECA: An American Werewolf In London: Kesslerwolf

Pulled the trigger on Jack and David today. £99.99! That's a lot, but, factor in shipping from other retailers, and it wouldn't be much more anyway. I knew I would get them one day, sooner rather than later as it turned out!

    Neca has universal monsters!!!

Are they doing a version of the Monster from Bride without the chair? What would also be nice would be Henry and Pretorius to go with them......

    Neca has universal monsters!!!

It's still beyond me why they never did a B&W Phantom, he was the OG B&W horror character.

I'd definitely style it a bit more, but, he's on the right track.

Sounds like quite an undertaking, be cool if you can pull it off.

It's proper going to bug you now, I'd change it. What about Big Bad Toy Store, they may have a sale on at some point.

NECA: An American Werewolf In London: Kesslerwolf

It's one of those where you think you could leave it, but, knowing the defect is there will constantly bug you. I know on a couple of my Black Series there ws a factory error where lower legs got swapped. It did affect the entire run though and not just one or two. It isn't immediately obvious...

NECA: An American Werewolf In London: Kesslerwolf

Mmm, it isn't as bad as I thought. You could cut the claw off and glue it to the other side. As is though, it's not glaring. You'd get away with it on a shelf with other figures beside it. I think the one thing I'd dispute is whether it's in scale with Jack and David. In shots I've seen of it...

Two right feet!? Oof! That's not good! As QC errors go it's a howler! Still, the rest of the figure is good, so that's something. I think it has all the articulation it needs. any more and, if the joints weakened it just wouldn't look good. I may glue the legs on mine if they become bothersome...

On al the bits I plan to paint it should be just fine, I will repaint the teeth on the open mouthed head as I'm not keen on the blood. Probably, the only rubbery material I had trouble with was some hair on a DML figure. I repainted the hair on my Credit Collection Cara Dune and that went down...

There isn't any rubber on this figure anywhere, it's all hard plastic. I have seen other repaints of the heads and it can definitely be done. I plan on doing the pale grey with pastels so I can get a really subtle blend. I can't wait to see what yours looks like finished.

Nice job! I do plan to repaint the heads on mine, just to get them to match the puppet better. There are lighter greys in the fur around the face, which is a detail that a lot of figures and statues seem to miss:

Well, we'll just have to see what in hand pics and reviews tell us.

They don't seem to be terribly good with layers, most I have are only pants and tops or overalls.

    Mezco Indiana Jones

I'm perfectly happy with my SHF, he's all the Indy I need, I don't even need to spend thousands making a 1/6 one now. The early Mezcos were good, I love the Star Trek crew and Michael Myers, but, others don't fare as well. Some of the clothing looks too bulky and you're stuck with a standard...

Hmm, still looks like a 1/12 Present Toys to me.

Action Figure Medicom - MAFEX Star Wars line coming

Yes, well, that is a bit extreme! I have mine posed to match my 1/6 model kit and it looks great. The Mafex arm joints don't look like a human arm in armour. Black Series joint do seem to have a more natural flow to them.

Action Figure Medicom - MAFEX Star Wars line coming

When the arms are straight, the elbow joints on that look really off-putting, too robotic. If the joints flowed more naturally, they would look so much better. BS and ANH SHF look better overall to me.

    Mezco Indiana Jones

It's odd and frustrating that we've not seen any pics of Indy beyond the initial promos. You'd think we would've seen something from a con, but, no, zip, nada. Oh well, we may see him in hand soon at least....
