Damn shame it turned out looking the way it did. If they were going to go with Jim's design, and an armoured Batman to boot, they should have used one of the 'Future Batman' designs from DC Universe Online.

I know right! I can't recall Bats smiling in any of the Nolan films. I don't know why Hot Toys made the 'smiley face'. What's worse is the 'teeth baring' mouth sculpt. He looks like a piranha.

A fan from HT's Facebook page uploaded this good comparison. You can really see where they went off with the cowl sculpt. The official stills also show a brown-ish quality on the chest piece armour. I've seen some customs that have the correct colour, but it's hard to tell with HT's pics as to...

My GOD this figure is almost perfection. Enterbay have made the best Nolan Batman head sculpt I've ever seen. I am constantly tossing up between this and the HT 1/4th TDKR Batman, but HT just can't nail the Batman sculpt in my opinion. Too 'bird like' because some of the proportions are off...
