This looks like the bangs are a separate piece and (since it’s a very early work in progress) they just hadn’t worked out the divot needed so the V of the part would rest flush inside the hairline.

Idk, this does feel a little in line with them cracking down on the sexier products. I love the ACG head, but their promotion of the doll and certain aspects of it definitely feel (to be quite generous) at least Sexy Statue Adjacent.

Beads could be a good way to go for tiny Materia! You’d just need a way to stick them in place that won’t damage anything, or be too permanent in case you want to get rid of them later. But tbh if they’re a snug enough fit the friction might do the work for you without getting stuck forever lol
