    Wicked

I'm looking forward to watching this. The songs in the stage show are great. Obviously "Defying Gravity" gets all the attention (and rightly so), but my favourite songs have always been "Popular" and "What Is This Feeling?". I didn't realise this was a 2-parter until I saw that another great...

The Blu-Ray Upcoming, News & Info Thread

They might be in the US, but here in the UK the original steelbook releases for Mando S1 and S2 were limited edition. I understand that the US and UK releases are slightly different. The UK releases have long sold out and are listed on eBay for over £100 each! I am enjoying the thought of the...

Excellent! I'll be picking up Ahsoka and Mandalorian S3. Good news; Mandalorian S1 and S2 Blu Ray Steelbooks are getting rereleased in February along with these. The prices for those on secondary markets are ridiculous, so I'm very happy that they are getting reprinted.

    Marvel Studios : X-Men '97 - 2023

Episode 9 was excellent. This whole series has been truly special. It's been consistently awesome.

    Star Wars: The Acolyte

What also has me concerned is the apparent disregard for established canon/timeline. The Phantom Menace explicitly states that the Jedi believe the Sith have been extinct for 1,000 years, and yet this show is set just 100 years before The Phantom Menace and features Jedi encountering a... Sith...

The Batman - Part II (October 3rd, 2025)

This is incredibly disappointing. Especially when it appears that WB is prioritising/accelerating other projects.

DC Direct doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Seeing as we've also had an individual re-release of Batman (with a new body), I am hoping that Bullock gets an individual release too. Joker and Harley Quinn as individual releases too would be good. Despite being cel-shaded, that 4-pack seems to be based on the original DC Direct figure...

DC Direct doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Thank you! I can't wait to get Gordon. Would love a rerelease of Bullock and Montoya too.

DC Direct doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I've searched and cannot find an image of the chase Gordon, have you got a link/source please? All I keep finding is the chase of the Jim Gordon Batman from the McFarlane multiverse line.

DC Direct doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

    Very late reply, but I believe the chase is based on Scarecrow's appearance in The Batman Adventures comic book;

Spooky time! What are your favorite horror movies?

An interesting theory! If we take the lore and biology of "the thing" established in the 2011 prequel, the creature can only replicate organic material. They check if people have fillings in their teeth, and the final creature is exposed due to the fact that the human that it replicated had an...

Because this is a textbook definition of someone disliking something because someone wants to dislike something.

    Star Wars: Ahsoka

The problem isn't with the fact that a character came back via cloning or otherwise (cloning is an established part of Star Wars lore). The problem is the fact that it was PALPATINE that came back, and thus undermines Anakin's character arc and the entire point of the original 6 movies. Even if...

    Star Wars: Ahsoka

I think it's already been discussed, but personally no movie/show can save the ST for me, no matter how good. The major issue with the ST is all the things that they have shown us explicitly in the movie, and therefore cannot be improved or changed; Palpatine returning and thus ruining...

    Star Wars: Ahsoka

They've made it pretty clear that the priority in almost everyone's mind was finding and stopping Thrawn and preventing another Galactic Civil War, finding Ezra was a bonus of going to that Galaxy. This is further confirmed when they learn that Morgan, Baylan, and Shin have the map, and the...

    Star Wars: Ahsoka

John Williams' score for "Revenge of the Sith" is phenomenal.

    Star Wars: Ahsoka

Nothing so completely and directly explicit, in my opinion. In fact, apart from showing the New Republic to be quite weak and open to fierce opposition (which isn't really an unavoidable direct link to the ST IMO), I actually can't think of any ST links in the Disney+ shows so far.

    Star Wars: Ahsoka

Echoing what Asta mentioned, Jacen was born before ANH (his father, Kanan, died before ANH). So ages do not match up with Kylo Ren. Definitely just Jacen Syndulla. Not Kylo Ren, that would be F***ING stupid.

https://www.cbr.com/disney-100-box-set-movies/ New Blu-Ray set coming from Disney to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company. $1,500 big ones though. Ridiculous price. There's no 4K included, although even with 4K it's still way too expensive.
