Yep, it has the exact shape of the dais. It looks like if they tried to paint it after the dais was placed. But I'm not sure if this is part of their production process or if they tried to fix something afterwards...maybe the alignment between the base-dais was not the expected and tried to...

Well finally my Jabba arrived! (Spain).. and what a piece! It's by far one of the best 1/6 figures from sideshow. When taking a look in more detail, I found out that on the back of the throne the paint was not applied with the same quality... or at least that's what I think. Here are a couple...
