Hands down one of the best Detolf displays I've ever seen! That is well spaced, the boxes really add to the effect and it's almost a clean sweep of Halloween figures. Impressive!

I actually enjoyed the minimalist approach to the scenes that included Godzilla. It made them all that much more "edge of seat" for me. It really is a well done drama...with a monster :)

I'm still awaiting mine to ship. They said I'd be in the June or July batch. Once I get them and confirm they're an upgrade to my two Sideshow ones, those will go on the market. I might also keep one of each and sell the others.

If you can print them, you can paint them, I believe in you! :) Seriously though, if you get a decent airbrush and learn to use masking fluid, you could knock out most of the painting that way. Leave the fine brush detail for just the finishing and you won't drive yourself crazy. My painting...

I wonder if you could get high resolution 3D prints and paint them up? Not sure about your art skills, but might be an option if you're into that sort of thing. 3D printers are pretty cheap now and there are automotive paints that would pass for any iron man color...

Yeah, that ocean chase scene with his head only partially emerging from the water was powerful. Tense moment that you really feel. So good.

Good call out on the voices. I think too often they would try for idealized Japanese voices that often sounded much more anime than real life. I still want to watch it again with the original Japanese voices and English subtitles AND just Japanese with no subtitles. I think two more watches...

I thought the English dubbing was pretty good but at times definitely reminded me of the old English dubbed films...which honestly gave it a nice little touch of nostalgia. It's not the lack of matching of the mouth movement with the voice as much as the really American phrases you sometimes...
