That Kingdom Come photoshop is incredible. I wish we could’ve seen him like that, had the series not been steered into the ground after II.

I still enjoy parts of III and IV tho.

Superman II Donner Cut & Batman 89 4K releases when.

It's frustrating that Superman Returns was such a snooze fest overall. There was moments of brilliance in it and it's not a bad film..it's just boring - low on action and it is literally too quiet for long periods. The child was probably a bad idea too but otherwise I liked its premise of using the Reeve films as its backstory and thus it being a continuation of Reeve's Superman. I so wish it had been a better film and had gotten a sequel, then maybe been the basis of a shared universe.

Having said that I think Cavill looks more the part than Routh did. Alas Cavill was probably too young back then.

Sigh. We just can't win.

Superman Returns did have its moments but the idea of Superman having a bastard didn’t sit well with me.
Kal hovering in low earth orbit listening to the world then breaking the sound barrier when he hears the alarm was cool.
The crowds reaction and then the worlds when Superman appears after checking on Lois in the jet was well done.
It borrowed too heavily from Donners works and the premise of leaving earth to see Kryptons remains was pretty weak.
Routh was good at channeling Reeves mannerisms but that scene of Kal getting beaten by Luther’s thugs was disturbing.
Anyone ever notice how much Routh sounds like Tom Cruise?
John Williams score in the end credits was beautiful.
I think Cavill did audition for the role but forget why he lost out.

I'm going to be doing a few more of them. Second one is going to use the "Caped Wonder Stuns City" headline. Here's the main image for it:

That is a nice prop. Can that file be saved as a jpeg and printed on a sheet say a3 size and still look clear and good? Never done that before. File is big just over 3mbs so i am sure it would look good.

Agreed. So much was right about that, but it did miss the mark. I'll still take it 100 times out of 100 over Man of Steel, Batman V. Superman, Justice League, etc.
