The model has Real rust on it. Just waiting for the correct tires to come through the post and the decals.

I take it its a diecast metal car then too have real rust ?

No, it's plastic I basically clear coated the model and grinded down some old rusty nails and poured the rust fibers over the clear coat wich stuck turned out very well, I am just waiting for my number and stripes.. would you be intrested in seeing the finnished car?

The tires will be correct also in a few weeks.

Well not to me, only because I'm a huge fan I guess.

I like customizing diecasts / models, of VW's to the certian look Herbie has through the films..
