1/4 PF Custom Boba Fett

This seemed like the proper place to show my PF BF Custom. I had already been up fro 24 hours when it arrived so inhabitions were down and I just went to work. Arms are posable and the Helmet and some of the armor were repainted. There are still some upgrades I want to add so I'll post them here when added.

I saw this in Michael Crawford's Boba Fett review, it's amazing how much a slight change like that makes a big difference. It looks great!!

Did you put joints in the original arms? How difficult was the mod? It looks great!

Not that hard...really. I replaced the arms. The arms where removed just past the seam so there would be plastic walls instead of hole leading from the shoulder into the body. Couldn't use the originals (see pic). I replace with 1/6 figure legs. I'll eventually replace those in favor of ball jointed ones. Shoulder (up&down) Biceps, Elbows and Wrist are the points of articulation.

This is what I'm talking about!!! What I'd really LOVE to see (or better, do myaelf) is a full-on, top-to-bottom articulation job done on him. od, that's be sweet!

He can be put back into his original pose because of his arm articulation....this is nice if I get board with the pose.

No problem man.... It's just awe-inspiring to see this level of detail on Fett. To take a great SSC item and make it 100X more impressive is a feat, and not a small one at that. Just looking at the side of the helmet, the layers of damage and rubs...dirt.. blast marks... It's fantastic work. I mean, it looks like you have the real Fett standing right there... Just blows me away.

It's beautiful...

I think these PFs should look like the real thing...espicially the masked characters that don't have to display an actor's likeness. I've been very picky with the SW PFs.
Hopefully I can get my 1/6 version completed some time soon. Sideshow scale.
