Hello,

My Name is Tinela and i just have joined this forum. I have posted a few photos with some outfits I have done in the last few months. thanks everyone for the support I have, much appreciated.

Best thing to do is set your pricing, build a schedule with jobs slotted in, and stick to it. Build in some wiggle room and by all means don't take in more than you can handle. Some folks take in too much work and down payment advances, get overwhelmed, and then disappear. It's not a good situation for anyone. Typically I like to do either 1/2 in advance and 1/2 at completion or 1/3 in advance, 1/3 at mockup stage, and 1/3 at completion. If you're able to deliver on what you promise you'll likely build a long and fruitful business via this community.

thanks for your advice, much appreciated! on top of my scheduled and have the support of my husband as and when. and some very good friends that I gained in the last months since I have started this.
