1/6 Custom Ra's Al Ghul

Hey everyone I wanted to share with you one of my first customs. I put together a Ra's Al Ghul from the party scene of Begins. I am not really happy with it, but would like everyone elses opinion. Thanks

Body: Hot Toys truetye
Head: Susala Ra's Al Ghul
Paint: Small_Studios
Suit: DID black Obama Suit
Shirt: Black ACI shirt and tie
Cane: Custom made
Stand: Dark Knight stand with help from my buddy Elvis1976

I am still deciding whether I should keep it or sell it, I am not pleased with it but I know i could futz with it some more.

It looks AWESOME.

How come it looks so much taller than the scarecrow (and is that an Elvis mask), is the scarecrow on another body?

The sculpt/paint looks outstanding particularly in the 1st pic

thanks for the kind words. Yea my girlfriend thinks im too hard on my self. Yes it is an elvis mask and I do not think the angle helps but it is a little taller. I put the harvey dent shoes on scarecrow and put the actually feet and added shoes to ra's to give him a little extra height and it does add a little.

By the way I do think the paint job is superb......thanks josh. I just dot like the way I put it together and wanted everyones opinion.

Ah i see. So what exactly are you not happy with?

I'm trying to put together a custom from the ninja training scene, like Elvis's custom... one of my favourite scenes from BB. But having trouble finding the BB suit gauntlets parted out... have spare TDK suit gauntlets that I can use but it just won't look right...

Thats a keeper dude. He looks really sharp. The one thing that would make him look better, and it's the same problem I have with mine, is try to get a little more neck to show.

Nice, I was going to do the same Ra's 'cause the scene before the black suit, Neeson is still Ducard. Maybe his neck is not elevated enough or the scarfe make him look too tamp otherwise the rest is perfect.

I think it looks sweet Forigno, it just seems a bit "hunchbacked" thats all. Otherwise its perfect imo.

Thanks for all of the kind words. Since I posted this thread and got alot of positive feedback I went back and changed a few things and now love the figure. I pushed down the shirt so that more of the neck is showing I also replaced the tie with a shiny one and shortened up the scarf a tad.

Brilliant headsculpt, superb painting, clothes well chosen... What do you want to be better? He's really excellent. You did a great job, he blends totally with the HT Joker and Scarecrow.
