EDIT: 1-24-14: Selling a couple more of these kits at a discounted price today only to raise some last minute cash for something. $30 shipped in the U.S.

Hey gang,

As some of you may know I am the proud owner of my own high-end 3d printer. Prior I had always used Shapeways for my printing, but sometimes they can't get those fine details that really make a difference that were important to me, that and the 10 day turn time was frustrating. As a kickoff I wanted to offer something a pretty simple piece that I'm hoping there is some need for.

1/6 Scale Fast Food Cup
- High surface resolution 3D printed cup
- Straw and cup are one piece
- Straw actually has a hole through the entire length of the straw and not a solid piece. Pretty impressive for this small of a piece!
- As seen below, prints are done on a SLA printer and don't have those nasty build layers normally associated with 3D printing.
- Cups are ready for you to prime and paint
- Comes with your choice of a 'Tasty Burger' label or a 'Chicken King' Label.
- Labels are professionally printed and machine cut vinyl decals. Just stick them right onto your finished cup.
- Please note that each cup has a drain spout on the bottom. I will include a round, die-cut white decal to cover the bottom, or you can use a drop of bondo to fill it in.

I have 12 spots available for the first run, so I need to see who is interested.
Price is $39.50 per cup - DOMESTIC Shipping: Priority shipping with $50 of insurance will be $6.85. I need to get a competitive international quote as well.
So for domestic orders the total will be: $46.35. Paypal is: [email protected]

Please note that on this and future projects I am being competitive with what shapeways would charge if you for the same item, and you are getting a much higher surface finish.

Right now this is an interest list, no payment due just yet. Please post your interest on this thread.

1) Entropy - Tasty Burger
2) Entropy - Chicken King
3) Levit05 - Need to know which version
4) TheDanger - Chicken King
5) Bullet - Chicken King
6) Tbay - Chicken King
7)

Additional photos will be added later tonight

Corrose, Since your working on the Pulp Fiction stuff will you be doing the Bad Mutha F wallet like we spoke of some time ago.

List updated!

@Turbo - at some point, but I can't quote any specific timeline. I've been staying at capacity now for a couple of months with just decals alone, and now adding in the 3D printing. Just stay tuned to my primary thread.

Updated, since the list is filling up quicker than I thought, I will try to figure out the shipping solution today or tomorrow and get a price on that.

Snagged all I need for the packaging, and I'll have a firm ship quote tomorrow on these.

Let me know if any of you want in on the remaining spots.

Domestic shipping info updated on page one.
These are ready to go, feel free to send payment when ready.
You must make sure your paypal notes include the version decal you want as well as your board name and shipping info.

Thanks

Domestic US folks who are ready to order, you are good to go, complete info on page 1.

I still need to get an international quote next time I go out.

Thanks

These are ready to ship for those of you who expressed interest.
I also received a couple of PMs in regard to the price that I wanted to clear up.

Whenever possible, with my projects, I always prefer to cast my original and produce copies. Even with the labor this is still a cheaper way to go than buying a raw 3D print.

In the case of this cup the price is higher because each cup is a raw 3D print with the brilliant level of detail you see on the first page, including the actual straw with the hole going through the whole thing. This detail alone I can guarantee would not be able to be captured first off in the silicon molding, the silicon is simply too thick to even get into the straw cavity to imprint it.

Because the straw detail alone was an important one to me, this particular project was done as one-offs. Consider this my "deluxe" version. I could theoretically produce and cast a cup and straw with a solid, filled straw at a lower price point, but I honestly have no interest in it, I like to finish a project and move onto the next one.

I also want to make sure you guys understand, as I offer projects like this that have to be single prints and not casts, I always upload my files and compare with shapeways pricing and beat it. I'm coming in cheaper than one of the major players out there in terms of 3D printing, and I guarantee that they don't offer a material option that would match the surface detail of this print. If I just gave you my 3d model and didn't charge one cent for the time it took to build it, and you tried to have this printed at one of the major 3d printer houses, you'd still pay more and the quality of print would also be less.

So yeah, again these are ready to ship, please let me know if anyone would like to snag one.

Thanks
