If I had access to photoshop, I could have demonstrated it.Great comparison pictures @endor1
Using your photo I can show more clearly what I was trying to describe if the gap were to close, the forehead becomes elongated.

Would you wanna exchange buddies?Received a couple more of these guys last night. Helmet/height Issues aside, I'm really in love with these figures. Buddy of mine helped me convert one into a shadow scout.View attachment 596698

His name is Joel Hasse, he has an Instagram where he posts a bunch of his projects. Very talented creator, I can't fathom how he makes some of the stuff that he does.Would you wanna exchange buddies?

What was the other, Snowspeeder Luke?Picked up my trooper today. WOW two HT figures in one year. I haven't done that since.....well before your father was born!
Jango Fett. Below are my shameless plugs to receive more views......What was the other, Snowspeeder Luke?
Great pic, and I agree the helmet gap isn’t an issue at all. In fact in some respects it’s very accurate to the original costume helmets.I have so many fond memories as a kid with the old 1980s Kenner version of this guy and the bike.
I could care less about the helmet gap. This thing is perfect.

Love this set up I know it’s off topic, but is that the Luke Endor version, or the deluxe? As I thought you’d never be able to get this pose because of the fixed neck HS. I’ll be really happy if it’s the latter.
Very nice pose and shot!I have so many fond memories as a kid with the old 1980s Kenner version of this guy and the bike.
