I bet that stings lol

I can't wait to see a bunch of ppl pooing on this figure right now change their tune in a year or less and give the lamest excuse as to why they decided to buy it 😂

Cause ya know, that just looks so awful...
I think most of us, while recognizing the overall improvements made, are simply enjoying the humor here. It’s what we do. I like the overall look of this but think the leg and head proportions need fine tuning. My biggest hesitation is due to his new height. I have my SS Batman posed with the black suit Superman and they look great together. I really don’t want to replace him with a Batfleck that’s significantly taller than Superman and the other Batfleck versions I own. But then I said the same thing when the Diecast IMs started and I eventually caved on those so I reserve the right to change my mind lol.

The photos of it being displayed definitely looks better than the professional photos I have to say!

I also missed out on Jazzinc one just because the shipping is crazy for my country.. hope HT do it...
I can't believe Hot Toys went to the extent of even making a video about it. Design and plans are all there. They just need to pull the trigger.

I wouldn't particularly need anything more than interior and exterior lights either.

Still don’t understand why ppl try to put Hot Toys down and praise InArt while we haven’t seen their prototype and most likely it won’t be perfect either. Just get what you love, this is so simple. :monkey3

Couple of things why HT gets bashed for the most part.

1. Inart hasn't shown anything but when they do their official prototype announcement, the likeness and overall product look is at 90% or above along with good choice of materials. When HT does their official prototype announcement, the overall look is at 80% IMO and some things are questionable. Looking at this, the increase in body size, musculature details, cowl shape are questionable. HT is doing their signature weird mouth expressions again. IMO, even the unmasked sculpts seem off.

2. At this point, we know Inart acknowledges collector feedback and most likely may implement them but we at least know they'll make improvements on the final product. HT isn't known for improving or fine tuning the final product in these recent years unless the product is widely hated with the risk of not selling or not until Inart came to the picture. That really is their only motivation to improve on something.

3. HT's recent "remastered" DC announcements are more reactionary rather than revolutionary. Why do the same lineup Inart is doing? They've made their money on those already. Move on to something that has not been done or Inart is not doing. They're trying to do this "we can do it better than them" move but really, they aren't doing it better. It really shows how threatened they are. Also, their rooting quality isn't as good yet. Will it ever be? Who knows?

4. HT gets praised and Inart bashed as well. Their newest sculpted hair Joker is more liked than Inart's sculpted version at this point. Inart gets criticized for their first few showings of Aragorn. Praises and criticisms are there when warranted.

This new HT Batfleck seems off for me. Some things are nice like the moveable cowl and properly wired cape. But that's about it for me which is not much. I feel the SS version still has the right amount of buffness and proportion. This is way overdone.

Hot Toys are not entirely mentally stable.

It’s the in thing to hate on Hot Toys. InArt is the savior of sixth scale collectors.

I don’t think this figure is flawless and I’m not even sure if I want it but people love to get digs in whenever they can regarding Hot Toys and how InArt will inevitably be so much better despite not having anything to base that off of from the InArt side of things.

Why are people acting like these figures being nitpicked apart here is new? INART not existing doesn't somehow magically make this figure more accurate. People have been anal over the details and inaccuracies for over a decade now. Those body/suit issues are still very much there regardless of another company. The only difference is that we now have the option to say "I'll wait to see what INART/JND does." Instead of just taking up the *** whatever Hot Toys puts out because they're our only option.

Hot Toys going backwards in terms of the body and suit, while excelling forward in other aspects like the sculpt and a bit of the cowl, is entirely in line with how they have been over the years. It's nothing new. There's a reason collectors joke around about how they'll just wait for the next version from Hot Toys because they'll very likely do a 3.0 in the future.

All that is fine. Competition is good I’m not disputing that whatsoever, but where it gets old is when people are presumptuous and make comments like I’ll wait for InArt because that’ll be better. Based on what? Your feelings on other figures they’ve released but nothing for this character in particular?

Also there is a segment of collectors who since the inception of InArt (and now JND) like to downplay Hot Toys quality like they’re such subpar figures or something. That’s where I get annoyed.

I can admit Hot Toys has made some lazy and questionable decisions. No questioning that whatsoever but by and large they’re still a decent company and put out good figures.
