According to the guy who took that picture, it has a "shoelace style method" of removing it, and while it is easy to get off, it's a bit difficult to get back on, though not impossible.

I guess it can give a kinda killmonger vibe, If someone wanted to use it with the civil war panther for a not exactly custom duel.

So i chanced upon ryan meinerding's instagram post on T'chaka's outfit yesterday, and he explained that it indeed is just the CW suit with gold accents, complemented with the added sash & pants & a new helmet. Answering my own question a few posts back, this HT figure is thus screen accurate

It appears black and grey from what I remember.

Maybe it was remodeled throughout the years. Could be cracks and stuff. If you want it to work, it can still work.
