The Mando line is just insane. Great if you're a fan with incredibly deep pockets and a warehouse to store them all in...but man, that is one rabbit hole.

Yeah, I love the Mandolorian series and when the Beskar Armor version was announced I was just about to order it but then thought about whether or not I wanted to go down what was sure to be a deep hole. I really like the figures they have been releasing from that line but this hole looks like it will be even deeper than I first imagined.

I hope that as Marvel movies and Television series start heating up that we will get more Marvel figures.

Damn this guy looks impressive. In some ways I hope he doesn't go up for pre-order as I'll need to make a hard decision. Get or not get. Loved him in the film. Hilarious.

With as much as they have been showing him, I can't help but feel HT will eventually put him up for PO.... right? It helps me sleep better at night anyway.

Considering Hot Toys will probably announce release date of Q3-Q4 2022 at the earliest and chances are the figure will be delayed to 2023, plenty of time to decide.

Their Summer Event goes until 15 August, so considering they've just made announcements this week, a third and final drop at the end of the event could be possible I think.

Yeah that's a fair call matching with the US movie release.

But I'd also factor in Loki and Sylvie, they've been noticeably absent and Marvel pickings have also been pretty slim as well.

I would say Loki reveals are very possible given their booths all have Loki promo art around them.

While it's probably still too early to panic, I am concerned that the underperformance of the film may impact this figure getting released. These days HT seems to be primarily focused on Mandalorian, Spider-Man costume variants and whatever they can squeeze out of Iron Man armors, as these are their most consistently reliable sellers.

For the most part, HT's strategy for movie and Disney+ show figures seems to be to release one or two of the main characters and possibly show prototypes of secondary characters. If sales of the main character figure(s) are strong, they'll then take a look at trade show and social media buzz. If main character figure sales are poor, secondary character figures are shelved. I'm guessing orders for the Sam Wilson Captain America and Winter Soldier figures were fairly decent, which is why Zemo was shown (although still not a shoe-in). Similarly, Scarlet Witch and Vision have probably done well, leading to Cataract/White Vision (although, unfortunately, still no Agatha Harkness). ScarJo Black Widow has long been a reliable seller for HT, so the black suit and white suit versions were pretty much no-brainers. However, if Taskmaster sales were soft (especially following the "reveal") coupled with the lukewarm box office, other figures could be in jeopardy. My guess is the Yelena figure will be held back for Hawkeye in order to take advantage of the hype for that show. Unless Red Guardian shows up again in a future movie or Disney+ series, he may end up in HT figure limbo along with the likes of Yellowjacket, Ultron Drones, Mantis, Valkyrie, Yon Rogg, etc.

Just watched Black Widow today. Why did they give him that shield? Did they base it on concept art?

Head sculpt is not as good as the HT prototype, but other than that it’s not that different other than having the wrong shield. I’ll wait for in-hand reviews, but if it turns out well and they replace the shield I’ll probably pick it up.

Looks like David Harbour to me. But there's something about the paint job I don't quite like...hard to put my finger on it. Maybe the skin tone is too dark. Still, the sculpt looks great to me and it's nice to get an actual facial expression for once.
