Yeah with all the stuff I'm expecting as well as the sudden movement by Mars on the 66 Batman line, I'm probably getting my wife a coupon book for household chores for Christmas!

In his latest live Man of Hot Collectibles was reeling off a list of figures that were coming out soon, or sooner than expected. Han Solo is apparently dropping this month.

Oh crap, how accurate is this guy normally?
Not exactly financial prepared for Han right now. Pretty sure Sideshow said the release was for August...

I wasn't aware of him until recently, when he said his source told him that if the Scorched Xenomorph sold well Hot Toys were planning to release Rain, Andy and the Offspring. A short time later the Rain prototype was on display in Tokyo.

For his accuracy in the past Time Lord Collector noted this:

I can confirm he's been right about a number of things in the past. But don't hold me to this.

I hope they tweaked the furrow brow expression. I’d prefer a neutral expression, not the damn she made out with her brother and I watched expression. Probably the same expression he had when kylo was born and he looked suspiciously like rebel technician #37 and nothing like Han.

The casting for Kylo was horrible. Maybe if Han slept with another horse face like Barbara Streisand, I could see it.

With Hot Toys apparently going deep into the prequel Jedi, does anyone else think it’s weird how sparse OT announcements have been for a while now? There are still so many characters left to make. Hoth Luke and Han, Bespin Han, X-wing Luke, Boushh, 2x versions of ROTJ Lando, Ewok village Leia, Slave Leia (a fool’s hope), Lobot, AT-AT driver, AT-ST driver, Snowtrooper commander, TIE pilot, all the cantina/Jabba’s palace aliens that you know would be better than what SS is making.

I would love Hot Toys to start working on the ANH 2.0 Luke, Han, Leia(although not sure how much they could improve), and Chewy so we can actually enjoy them on its 50th anniversary

I think that’s what Hot toys kind of did for the ROTS anniversary. They announced a couple of figures already like Grevious and Darth Sidious so we could potentially have them release during the anniversary year. That would be nice for them to do the same for ANH 50th.

With Hot Toys apparently going deep into the prequel Jedi, does anyone else think it’s weird how sparse OT announcements have been for a while now? There are still so many characters left to make. Hoth Luke and Han, Bespin Han, X-wing Luke, Boushh, 2x versions of ROTJ Lando, Ewok village Leia, Slave Leia (a fool’s hope), Lobot, AT-AT driver, AT-ST driver, Snowtrooper commander, TIE pilot, all the cantina/Jabba’s palace aliens that you know would be better than what SS is making.

I'd just go ahead and buy/make yourself a custom Slave Leia. There are parts available from the couple of kits that aren't HT level but are decent. I made myself two and they've been such a central part of my two Jabba displays for a few years now.

It’s been 2-3 ot releases per year for a while now, not counting repaints. This year was han, chewie, and a stormtrooper re-release. The year before was Vader and c3 which were mostly reusable parts, a Dewback that was meant for mando, and a sand trooper from the hot toys graveyard, as it was teased ages ago.
Star Wars hot toys is centered on clone wars and pt now, as the people who grew up with them are at the buying collectibles age.
Thank goodness for the sideshow cantina aliens. Overpriced and potentially a qc nightmare, but I have something to look forward getting.

Those who grew up with the PT now have their moment for disposable income & nostalgia.

Fact is, Jar Jar would outsell Hoth Luke, Kit Fisto outsell Lobot.

And Kitster or Mos Espa Jira would outsell Lobot... even though a HT Lobot would be such a grail figure for me.
