Well he is a power seller of Hot Toys. I’m sure he’s in contact occasionally if not more with the HT admin.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they did. Likely wouldn’t come with all the same accessories but would definitely meet demand.

He may sell a lot but I doubt he talks to anyone at hot toys other then the normal customer service people. There are dozens of people/companies that sell more.

In my country I have an opportunity to buy a used Dr Strange Hot toys in great condition for 420 US dollars.
And someone else is selling it also in my area brand new sealed for 460$. Are those good deals?

Well guys I guess Hot toys answered my question last night. Hot toys has just shared pictures for the Doctor Strange Infinity Wars figure release.

Well with greedy Hot Toys you can be sure they will release another DS soon to get their hands on the money they see this going for. Better strike while the iron is hot and make your money by selling soon.

Just like I predicted! Hot Toys extreme greed was not going to let them pass up on releasing this again. I mean it's ok for companies to want to make a profit but hot toys set a new standard for extreme greed. Like I said before I am sure Howard spends a lot of time on eBay looking at prices figures are going for and getting very upset because he feels entitled to all that money
It's probably only a matter of time before hot toys start a scalper division where they hold back several hundred figures of characters they expect to be hot sellers so they could sell a scalper prices later.

I rather pay Hot Toys than some loser on EBay inflating the price to a ridiculous level.

You call it greed, I call it another chance to get it for those who missed out.

Exactly. No one wants to spend $600 for a $250 figure. I knew they would come out with new figure eventually, but I am surprised at how soon. I still wish he had gloves but that's a minor nit-pick.

Prices on eBay aren’t because of the sellers. The buyers are making the purchases. There’s no difference selling a figure for a profit than any other asset in the world. Same principles apply.

Sure sure...lol

Sure sure...lol

Why is that funny? I’m just pointing out a common misconception. When things auction for a certain amount, that isn’t a seller causing that, assuming bidding is legit of course.

Yeah an item is only worth what people are willing to pay, there are plenty of ***** buyers, or maybe dudes to whom money isn’t an issue, however resellers are not without fault, maybe not in this case or most HotToys, since we have a pretty easy shot at getting them for retail, we def had plenty chances of getting DS1 so cant blame people for wanting their figure to retain its value now that it sold out...however resellers and scalpers are vultures that ruin just about any collecting hobby...certainly ruined the experience of collecting sneakers for me....just picture HotToys popularity and figure rarity increasing by a large margin and now you find yourself competing with bots and staying up all night waiting on a release simply to be able to get at retail, because now the aftermarket is inflated beyond comprehension...yeah ***** RESELLERS.
