I am positive about this figure. I am sure it will be on point when it comes out. I always liked the BP character from the comics and the movie version was fantastic. I am going to purchase this. If they make a better one for the solo flick I will upgrade.

well i can buy it for 219 USD

but nobody on this topic is positive about the figure

Couldn't help myself. I know its a bare bones release but I just PO'd this guy with my $72.00 Spook money and had $134.00 in PayPal credit, so I only had to front 20 bucks which I can handle. I hope his suit isn't too restrictive or have deterioration issues. Might make a cape for him to wear. He's just so cool! lol

I loved BP in the movie, he's a must for me. And I want the CW base. I got him at a good discount as well. Very much looking forward to putting him next to BW and Vision . But as for whether it's "worth it" or not is completely subjective. For some, me included, it totally is.

If this figure would have had an unmasked sculpt I'd have pre-ordered by now but as is it's too bare bones in my opinion.

Yeah I hate to think what a standard release Hot Toys figure will cost in 2019-2020. $240.00? $250.00? more?

I mean look at the newest coming Iron Man Diecast, $360.00?! :eek
And I know that comes with a decent amount of stuff but that's a tough pill to swallow IMO. Will we break the $400.00 threshold in the next 3 years? Hopefully not lol

But back to Black Panther it doesn't bother me the lack of accessories given the context of the movie (Civil War) I don't know what else you could possibly give him. I guess for value head sculpt would've been nice but like others have said I wouldn't pose him without the helmet (too cool with it on lol). Unless there are some items that "wow" us when the BP solo movie comes out, other than a cape, maybe a spear and the Boseman head sculpt I'm ok with this one. I do wish this Civil War Version came with a few extra gesturing hands i.e. pointing, relaxed etc. Either way still happy that this figure will be out in the near future!

I flip back and forth because the material on this figure just doesn't do it for me and there's no Boseman sculpt, that dude killed the role and if nothing else I could throw it on a custom. Having said all that I still want it because it's the Black fu**ing Panther and he stole the movie.
