Lazy re-using the sculpt, when it really could have done with an upgrade, but I'll still take it as I skipped the old release.

Exciting to see a part 1 Doc !

Not a fan of that headsculpt at all, will definitely be looking for a new sculpt.

I am both really excited to get this but disappointed that there is not a new sculpt. Nice to see the remote control. Hoping we get a plutonium case.

About damn time finally, this was the low hanging fruit for HT easy to make lol but I’ll take it. Was just strange me having PT1 Marty and Pt2 doc which I eventually sold.

About time. Given that they're using the same sculpt, why did it not get released the first time round?

Agree on the head sculpt but what can you do? I'll pick it up, but he should have come with Einstein not Marty. I wonder if this also means PTII Doc and Marty are coming as well. I would grab both this go-round. I don't know if Hot Toys will reissue the PTI DeLorean or actually release the PTII.

Easy pass. Absolutely love BTTF but this is one of Hot Toys worst sculpts. It’s a damn shame what they’ve produced with the license. It’s been very poor.

Glad we will finally be getting this, but another lazy release with the re-used head sculpt. I'll probably end up selling my Part II Doc now. Don't love having 2 of the same head sculpt in the display - although I could throw the glasses on the Part II and it will look different enough.

I am spending more on 3rd party figures these days because of these shortcuts that Hot Toys keeps taking. Even when they finally do a character I've been waiting for, it's done as "cost-effectively" as possible. But of course it will still sell for $250 through Sideshow. Good news overall, but still disappointing because of the sculpt.

This one I will get for sure. Yes the sculpt being reused is lazy, but I’m not going to miss this. The only irritation is that Einstein should have come with Doc instead of Marty. They only are including Einstein with Marty to make those of us who bought that figure want to double dip.

What a kick in the nuts this is ...

The only acceptable explanation is that they couldn't get any other sculpt approved, and really wanted to release a 1985 Doc, so they had to go with what they already had.
