Use KG all the time, never had an issue.

Me looking at all the "rubber" "plether" complaints with perfect Alien , Terminator, Eric Draven and Vader figures at home....

I will wait for collectables direct to list.
Mostly use them for HT and Statues.
Sometimes they are like £10 cheaper then others lol

I'm waiting on them and The Good The Bad & The Robots.

Both have been good in the past but it's been a long time since I used them: 2015 for TGTBTR and 2021 for CD.

Thats a good price, Im from UK but never ordered from them. I assume they'll get their batch last since its in UK lol.
I used to use them a lot when they stocked more Hot Toys. At some point they got tired of Hot Toys very long release windows (which I think caused a lot of cancellations and they don't ask for a NRD) so they decided to stop putting up any and everything Hot Toys for order.
They still occasionally put up HT figures but not in the number they used to. They pick and choose it seems.
They're good, you can trust them with your order. They don't get the figure any quicker than other UK retailers unfortunately.
Another solid choice for UK retailers is The Good, The Bad and The Robots if you decide not to go with Kapow.
TGTBTR get their figures fairly quickly in my experience. Faster than other UK retailers I've used.

People have gotten figures quicker from Toys Wonderland than I have from KG.
Toys Wonderscam will give more collectors more stress and aggravation when the figures NEVER EVER gets shipped and be left with a BIGGER AND DEEPER empty wallet.

I’ve been there and along with other collectors too (just lost approximately mid-200 dollars while others got reemed up the arsehole).

I’d be really glad if there’s a removal section for one that’s a closed mouth and one that’s opened
I mean yes, that's ideal.

But I don't think that's the case. I think we get one, fixed, open mouth. That's it.

We've not seen one photo or video with the mouth closed. We're just assuming that's a feature. The warrior promo shots even showed open and closed mouth pics. Scorched has none.

There's pictures of the mouth closed in the announcement set of pictures.

I'm going to put two and two together, and come up with five.

Officially, the original prototype has been replaced by the version that's gone up for pre-order. In confirmation of that Sideshow's "Coming Soon" page initially linked to the Scorched pre-order page, and the "Coming Soon" has since been deleted. Two became one.

However, I think there's a good chance the original will eventually go to pre-order as well.

Prototype 1.0 was shown with the cracked 'Scorched' carapace, but when Sideshow made their short video they did their best not to highlight it. In the close ups as the camera pans around they cut away just in time. That may just be coincidence, but it's odd not to point out the cracked dome. Whereas when Guy was eulogising the paintwork, he mentioned "...the blueing up there on the shoulder."

The paint difference between this and prototype 2.0 is significant, and so is the nameplate:

Prototype 1.0, even though it had a cracked carapace, wasn't officially "Scorched", but simply a generic "Xenomorph". The base was also devoid of the alien gunk that was added to "Scorched":

It makes sense that HT will want to get as much use as possible out of these moulds, so I'm pretty certain they're going to produce the original version at some point as a regular Romulus Xenomorph.
