As usual i miss out again on artisan. Joined the waitlist but i have zero hope of it converting. I thought i would have a better chance with this figure over the other artisans, but of course i didn't get on it soon enough.

Do you have text alerts set up? Those come in faster than the emails usually with enough time to get into the “waiting room” (about 15mins) before the queue actually starts

Yeah, I got the text 11-minutes prior to the queue starting but the email didn’t arrive until 4-minutes after.

Weird that you weren’t able to get in on the figure; i got the Sideshow email at 12:04 to join the queue, which said 3,800 people were ahead of me and it was a 28-minute wait. Used the option to be emailed when it was my turn and that email arrived at 12:15 with a link to get right in. You should have been able to get one!

While this looks phenomenal, I don’t personally need rooted hair for such a short hair style and am ok passing on this instead of paying an extra approx. $150 vs what a sculpted version of this figure would probably have been. I also don’t trust that suit material—isn’t it basically the same that they’ve been using on most of the Affleck Batman figures? Seen lots of people start having issues with that material starting to peel back around the panel lines.

Really? Yeesh... where was this discussed?
Yeah unfortunately. I’ve seen quite a few posts on FB the last year or two, people with their older BvS or JL Batman figures. And not just from the usual extreme humidity SE Asia countries. And again I’m assuming this is a similar suit material but I never owned the first MK to be able to say for certain myself.

Dunno that you have zero chance; this *&^% system sort of forces your hand, with the popular and unfortunately successful company strategy of FOMO, and once folks are committed and on auto-pay they are likely to stay in the game.

On the other hand, it's a tough time of year and people may be rethinking their budgets in January. If it had been 10 years ago I probably would have leapt on this fig, because. Tho this show was weird for me - great costume, Isaac was great in it, but I just didn't take to the show that much.

Hope you get a convert if you really like the fig; but I actually like the original better if I was gonna buy this fig. Feels like Moon Knight should be gleaming ghostly white in the night, not with a distressed look. But that's just me.

I misread it then. I thought you read some of the Moon Knights having an issue with peeling. My BvS Batfleck is still in one piece. So it should be fine I would think.
