I don’t care how long it takes, I’m happy to wait until they hash out the problems. Imagine, if they take a long time with the QC problems, and when they finally reveal it, the paint is off.

What an odd situation, especially for HTs. Not unheard of re, the iron man base and the mark85 head-sculpt shenanigans.

But still, very odd, and what is the recall issue - if it’s the paint i’d be amazed considering the years of complaints from the first issue. Couldn’t be that obvious surely.

It wouldn't surprise me. Hot Toys did make that bone-headed decision to rerelease ED-209 with a rubber dome in 2014 - this is after the well-known issue of dome cracking in their initial ED-209 release. I'm sincerely hoping Robocop comes out looking great paint-wise but I will just laugh at Hot Toys if they rerelease ChromoCop again.

I appreciate that studio lights can blow things out, but that looks almost identical to the original and nowhere near the prototype.
