The cheeks and the eyes on the production sculpt are what holds it back to me. They had them right on the proto. It's not a terrible sculpt, but they had it right the first time with the proto.

I Am Toys's reviews usually show sculpts in the best light though, so I'll wait for his review to see how it really looks.

Not fully, but I'm an artist, too. It can make a difference.

Very nice sketch. :clap

the proto was better, but the final doesn't bother me its definitely the Imperial Disguise they used from that proto. Either way it still looks like her to me. Plus its Jyn from RO, thats all I care about anyway. I was getting her no matter what because i collect everything Star Wars. :)

It will be interesting to see what happens with the final Imperial Disguise version. Will they use this sculpt or improve it?

I think it might be the way her hair is sculpted (really thick bangs that cover most of her forehead and cheeks) that's throwing me off. Because as soon as I see her with the hat on, the likeness is there.

Hmm. :gah:

First off, Wes, a few weeks back I was looking for inspiration for a Jyn pin up girl tattoo I've been wanting to get, and grabbed a bunch of reference pics off Google and I see now yours (the colored pic in the corner of your portrait) was one of them! Small web, huh? Amazing skills. I really love your style. Wanna draw the tat up for me? ;)

Anyway, I'm in the camp for the original sculpt/paint/whatever that was originally shown. FJ has those chubby cheeks and pouty lips in real life. Basically, she's adorable and the first proto captured that perfectly, I feel.

I'm obsessed with R1, so much so that it made me somewhat ambivalent towards TLJ And the ST in general. I don't own any HT other than R1 stuff, so consider me disappointed. If these recent pics are the prod version, I think I would pass, actually. I'll wait to see more pics, but as of now I'm not feeling it.

Thanks! Google truly knows everything. Can't decide if that is cool or really scary...

I'm sure we could work something out for a commission PinUp Jyn that meets your tastes. PM me if you want to move forward with it.

She looks amazing to me. I'm really excited for her.

Even though she spent little time with her poncho and head gear on, I think I might display her that way. Like Rey, I find she looks most impressive with all her gear on.

Not fully, but I'm an artist, too. It can make a difference.

That is a great likeness!

its almost as if they tried to make her look like super model or sumthin. kinda feel the same way bout the han and luke(anh/bespin) sculpts as well. its the actor but a more perfect lookin ver.

dunno if that made sense?

Like they just got their makeup did hehe

Has Khev asked you to do a full body version yet?

:lol :lol

I'd probably have to get in line as Felicity's fanbase here appears to be growing.

Wes' drawing looks better than HT sculpt. Wes captured her innocent *** appeal.

Yes since HT gave her a neutral stare expression they should have sculpted her with teeth showing like Wes' pencil drawing. But after Jason Palmer's amazing Saga print from Celebration, two framed photographs and the excellent Eadu PF on the way from SSC I'm not too bent out of shape that the sculpt on this HT figure is a bit of a near miss. :)

One of the bigger reviewers replied to me on Youtube. He says his full review of Jyn should "land tomorrow morning".

You've really captured her here-simply beautiful, strong, aware-everything Felicity brings to the character of Jyn. Bravo sir!
