If only we could dodge the bullet which is your comments. You have got to be kidding me.
Pass. I hated the film version of him. Whew! Dodged a bullet.
AwwIf only we could dodge the bullet which is your comments.
I think it’s very simple. Hot Toys should be consistent across the board and make their figures as screen accurate/close to the source material as much as possible. Darth Maul 2.0 and Kit Fisto are recent prototype examples that are basically great and really screen accurate. Unfortunately, ROTS Darth Sidious objectively isn't. In terms of final portraits, there is a vast disparity between the recent Shuri, NWH Peter (Final Swing) to the Mace Windu portrait.I've read quite a few comments in this forum about Hot Toys collectible figures these days. I always have to realize that it's a matter of taste when it comes to each individual collectible figure. As a collector, given the prices, you can of course expect a certain level of quality and reality from the collectible figure. Is there a perfect collectible figure? I don't think it's a matter of opinion or taste. Be that as it may, I'm not a Star Wars fan and I think Darth Sidious, for example, is awesome!!! Is he perfect? No, probably not. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to welcoming Darth Sidious with Darth Maul 2.0 to my collection of villains soon.
only two remaining, Death Star Trooper and Baze. List is no longer that long for StarWars. It feels like HT are going back and releasing stuff lingering in convention hell.
I already have the comparison between the film and Darth Sidious from Hot Toys. Yes, sorry, I'm not a Star Wars fan and so I probably have a different view of this 1/6 scale character from Hot Toys. Darth Sidious is he Perfect - No! Is the film implemented accurately? No, probably not, although I saw the film recently. Now to the crucial question: Despite the shortcomings and the certainly right criticism of Darth Sidious, do I still think it's good? Yes! It's just a matter of taste. I still understand your displeasure! Otherwise, Darth Maul 2.0 looks really damn good.I think it’s very simple. Hot Toys should be consistent across the board and make their figures as screen accurate/close to the source material as much as possible. You also say you’re not a Star Wars fan, so perhaps that’s why you don’t really see what’s off about the ROTS Darth Sidious? Regardless, all of this could be avoided if Hot Toys simply went all out with all their figures which imo, I think they’re more than capable.
I do apologize. It went south. But I meant it.Holy hell did this go from 0 to 100 real quick lol
1/4 Stormtrooperonly two remaining, Death Star Trooper and Baze. List is no longer that long for StarWars.
They did give him his CW gauntlets to wearThis right here. A thousand times this.
Live action Kit is quite possibly one of THE most ridiculous looking Alien creatures in all of cinema - for me, personally.
CW Kit looked amazing.
Put the pitch forks down, folks...
And snowtrooper commander... and 212th trooper..... and airbourne trooper.... and rangetrooper... Poe... etc. Just a coupleonly two remaining, Death Star Trooper and Baze. List is no longer that long for StarWars.

Doesn’t work with this type of boot. Leather or nylon is the way to go.I wish theyd stay away from using pleather boots. the direction they went with maul so sooo much better going with the sculpted ones.
