$305 at Sideshow. I was gonna guess $300. Compared to Star Wars, they're usually more competitive with their DC stuff what with Inart in the game.

Thats not too bad when i think of what it will cost in AUD. It's not a day one pre order, (just spent a lot acquiring the 60s batman and robin so very broke haha) but it's a pre order for sure. And my list of pre orders grows, i said i don't care about most of what hot toys puts out but now I'm starting to care more about to pre order the ROTJ darth vader even after saying to myself i won't buy star wars hot toys. Dammit hot toys stop putting out great stuff!!

Yeah I mean two heads, each with rolling eyes, three facial expressions, two capes and a nice hefty light-up display base...seems like they've brought the value here.

Wow... looks very nice.

I can't get over the fact that Keaton looks like The Mummy, and when he squats he's got the skinny old man legs... but I guess its all accurate.


So where's HT's updated '92 Bats now?

The glider was like the main reason I would have wanted the Returns suit and when they finally announced the figure without one (and a poor Keaton likeness), that was the end of any interest in that figure for me.

likeness needs work, its about 80% keaton
collar piece is completely wrong
minor errors to the cowl itself

Keaton doesn't even look like Keaton in that left hand side picture! Plus the focal length on the right hand side pic is making the sculpt look a lot flatter/wider. It's almost an orthographic shot.

Which is better Sideshow or BBTS in your opinion.

Double boxed goes to Sideshow but with markup and $4 shipping while Sideshow has payment plans, reward points, $20+ shipping and possible double box at $10.

What's strange is there's no countdown clock like last year, no separate listing, no editions of any kind on Sideshow's website. So I don't know if every copy Sideshow gets will be 'First Edition', or if it'll hit 'low stock remaining', go waitlist, and then come back for order as a second edition without the cowl or what.

I don't see any advantage for BBTS ever since they raised their prices to offset their $4 shipping...they're charging $25 more for this Batman!

With the Returns suit in the film (or at least in his armory), it would be a good opportunity to make a a 2.0 under this license in the event they don't have the Returns license any more. Don't see why they wouldn't have it, but you never know

Have to admit my very first thought was "Yikes that sculpt looks bad and nothing at all like Keaton", but it seems to have grown on me a lot more since then for whatever reason.

But I'm not likely to display him with the sculpt anyway, as the figure looks kinda weird without the cowl on.

I felt the exact same when I first saw the sculpt, but retracted my comments because I thought I was crazy seeing so many people saying they love the likeness and that it's spot on. These comparison pics brought a clearer picture, the hair is throwing it off making the head shape looks weird and other facial details need adjustment as well
