I haven’t gotten any notification about my throne version either. I’m tempted to pay in full to see if that makes any difference, but I’m waiting to hear back from customer service about some store credit issues that I was hoping to apply to that figure.
It’s a conundrum.
My Snowspeeder Luke and ROTJ Scout Trooper and speeder bike set just shipped though, so it’ll be a good week regardless.

My Boba w/ throne is in the "preparing to ship" stage from Sideshow.

Pretty much the same seen the photo of the two side by side is feel very lazy on Hot Toys part doing this, we’re paying for a premium price for a high quality figure just to get a repaint.View attachment 598886

Well arena Fett is pretty much a repaint of ESB fett as well as the Vintage color and people went gaga over them , HT knows that Fett fans will plunk down money for them , me included . However this one is probably my last. I do like it alot.

This was discussed before, but it makes sense for the figure to be a repaint of the Tython figure because that's what he did to his armor in universe.

The issue is that the scale of the battle damage Hot Toys sculpted into the armor for the Tython figure is a bit exaggerated. It works with the heavily damaged and paint worn Tython Fett, but it really stands out with the fresher finish.

There's still physical damage to the armor under the repainted exterior in the show, but the texture doesn't seem to look right on the figure as a result of how this figure was approached.

I'll see how I feel about it in person once it's delivered. I know it's bothered some folks from day one but I still like his repainted look from the show so I'm still excited for it.

I actually kind of like the repaint armor the more I see it. I know everyone likes the two pack with the acid damaged paint and while that figure is cool we don’t get much of Boba in that look. I prefer this or the look from The Book of Boba Fett.

I don’t think we’ll ever understand Sideshow’s shipping process. Seems completely random with no order number, destination location, or any other logical categorization seeming to be at play. I swear they just use some bingo/lottery tumbler and draw shipping labels out at random

This figure has one purpose, imo: to allow fans to recreate the now-iconic throne room scene. When Fennec gets here that is going to be one bomb-@ss detolf shelf. Well itll be that before she gets here too, but just saying.

Tython armor is my favorite ever, so no probs in owning both versions. But really, this guy is here to sit on that furniture, and I cannot lie.
