1/6 Hot Toys - Venom: Let There Be Carnage - Carnage Collectible Figure

I ordered mine from Toys Buying Agent a couple days ago so hopefully I’ll have him in a week or so. I’ve been looking forward to Carnage since his announcement.

I had no interest in this because of how much it deviates from the design. From what I remember he didn't have a tongue like Venom, and his teeth are supposed to be black not just regular teeth like Venom either. This movie's idea of carnage was kind of just Venom but red, like you see in a lot of fan art. Maybe the fan art from google image searches is what they thought was the original design or something.

While I tend to agree with you on the depiction, Carnage has been depicted with both a tongue and white teeth in the comics, going all the way back to his first title comic. When I personally think of Carnage though, I think of Mark Bagley or Tom Lyle and that is my preferred look.

That being said, this will most likely be the only Carnage Hot Toys releases, so it’s this or nothing.

I stopped the regular Spiderman comic when McFarlane left so my first exposure to carnage is in ultimate Spiderman he has white teeth there so I'm fine with this representation by hot toys. Both are cool looks imo.

I wish hot toys invested more in comic designs but not if they are going to do anything funky like the origins iron man.

It’s Sony. They are almost as dumb as WB. Yea they pretty much made a skinny red venom. Also made him huge. But like it or not it’s the only hot toys carnage you’re going to get.

Just got charged for this from sideshow. I got a notification that over $500 came out of my bank account and I about had a heart attack for a second. What happened to SS giving people a heads up?

I can see someone painting the teeth on their Carnage black to match the face. I'm actually really curious to see how that would look.

Maybe it will work on the screaming head, as for the closed teeth head, painting all the teeth black will just make a huge black area on his lower face..

I only had $150 in my bank when they charged so it didn’t go through. Luckily today’s payday. if only there was a way to notify us when they would be charging….

They did the same for me. I messaged them and they canceled and refunded the order right away. Pretty lame of them to give zero email or notice that they were charging for the order. Forgot I even had it on order.

That height discrepancy is whoa… I’m sure with some manipulation and crouching he can look more in line with Spidey.

You really can’t blame Hot Toys for that, they are in the business of making movie accurate pieces and this is an accurate representation of Carnage from the movie.

Meh… it’s Knull-empowered Carnage and worst of all it’s Donny Cates so I don’t really count that.
