Sounds like a plan,

I will say, however, that the holster will probably only fit the gun you get in his set, but, that said, if it's only sticking out of the holster then it won't matter anyway.

Steveos place has been a collector staple on these forums for years now, most of us have used him, many projects have even been inmcollaboration woth him actually. I think about a year ago he had a few personal problems but In my experience things went pretty fast. About a month turn around time.

Oh that's not bad at all. I was only asking for Paypal reasons. I don't like things going over the 45 day limit. Or at least Im wary of it regardless of his rep.

Anyway, Im doing the narrow shoulder swap out. I had no problem getting the torso off the Iny body but the narrow is glued good and tight. I feel liek Im going to break it trying to pry it off. Any suggestions? Dip it in hot water maybe??

I did the narrow shoulder mod but used Soldier Story arms. The only thing is that the little upside down T peg that clamps between the torso area is too thin. So IO cut slivers of electrical tape to wrap around them to make it thicker. A few pics.

^ This is before i fixed the long pegs and futzed the shirt. The arms are a bit longer but not as long as they appear in the pic. You can tell the difference in shoulders though.

This what Im talking about with the upside down T and the electrical tape.

And few more so people can see what were talking about with this mod.

All you needed to do is unscrew the arms at the shoulder, you don't actually have to break the glue on the plastic torso to do the arm swap, but glad it worked out for you.

I thought the Narrow TT's were just screwed together, I know the original tan one (TTM-08) was as I took one apart to tighten the torso joint. There are little pieces covering the screws which you have to pry out but it's all straightforward when you get them out.

I really hope that Kato's new Indy jacket forms more around the shoulders and isn't so rigid. I didn't even bother changing the arms on mine because it doesn't make a lick of difference to the shape of the jacket's shoulders.

Looks awesome, Fiend! Are the Soldier Story arms a little longer than the original HT arms? They look like they are.

And did anyone else do a photographic tutorial of switching the arms? I'm curious about what youbastards said about not having to cut the torso open.

I did take some pics to show you what it looks like above. And yeah the SS arms are longer but not as long as they appear in the pics above. I had to mod the pegs and futz the shirt. Actually, I'm not completely convinced that if they're longer or it's the way the SS arms fits inside the SS body. I think it's the latter. Either way Im going to replace them with HT arms at some point.

I just bought an x series body for about 28usd shipped to test it on my upcoming custom german indy. It should have an adapter for the ht indy head too. Wondering of this will change my love for ht bodies.

Is that one of those TT copies!? Some of them are supposedly better than TT's, but, I don't want to spend the money only to find out that mine is one of the not so good ones.

Well, i'll let you guys how it poses when it arrives. At least it's more affordable and i hope the neck converter works with ht indy sculpt.

Are you talking about the narrow shoulder knock off??

Not sure what you mean by x-series.

@Roger If you are referring to those cheap narrow shoulder bodies I can vouch for them. I've bought a dozen or so over the past year and I love them for the price. Out of all the ones Ive bought only one came that had looses joints and felt flimsy.

Might be worth a punt when I have need for one then..

Meanwhile, this just in from Skiman:

That was in the WGP thread, if that's a WGP head, was there a duff batch!? This looks more like Ford to me than the other paint-ups did. If mine looks like that, who knows, maybe I'll be happy!?

We'll have to see what comes out of the second batch I guess....
