the DX is a better base... just get a better head, like the new one inigou is offering right now, and you’re off to the races!!

The DX is too expensive, the elements that are good in it you can get parted out on the eBay already (the boots, the pistols, etc.). If you want to good starting point, get the Bruce Banner body, one of the new sculpts, and keep an eye on eBay for sovereign studios jackets.

If that seems like too much trouble, I really like the Sideshow TOD Indy, Just get a hot toys DX hat on eBay, swap them out, and you are ready to go:

Yeah, the DX is a bit too pricey for my taste. I can get the Sideshow for around $75 and I can repaint both heads and weather the outfit no problem, maybe I should start with that and go up from there, upgrading parts a la carte?

Unfortunately, the jacket (Sovereign Studios) doesn't have a working zipper. I don't think I can bring it together to get close enough either.

I have one in progress too, but its so difficult to dye the horses hair that dark gray color, it was driving me crazy ...

It looks great so far FastStreets.

If it was me I would use a tiny amount of acrylic paint on the hair and after dabbing it on I would use my fingers to smooth it through the hair. That way it would not clump together.

I managed to pick up a new hat for my repainted Sideshow head Indy. It fits really well on the Sideshow, MJ Choi and Treasure Hunter sculpts.

Hey gang,

Can I ask for some help? I’ve been a member here almost 15 years now, and I don’t post a lot but I visit and read often and really need some help here.

I’ve tried for YEARS to buy a Sovereign Studios Indy jacket. Never found one for sale. So I’m trying to find the next best 1:6th jacket out there. The Hot Toys jackets are awful in my opinion.

Can anyone please help me find a really good 1:6 Indy Jacket? Please?
