I have been trying to find a victorian type Lamp Post for something I'm making in 1:6 scale. The closest I can find (attached pic) is from smalljoes, but this lamp is 30" tall. I actually need one that is 18-20" tops. I know I could buy this one and chop a lot of the middle out but it won't look right. Aside from that I'm only finding 2-3" railroad ones.

Does anyone have a link for something that would be what I need?

Rather than searching for something that may or may not exist, might I suggest scratch building it yourself.

It seems like a fairly simple build which might take a day or two. Go and get some balsa wood dowels, and make a trip to the hardware store and look for things you might be able to use. You might be able to use some drawer pull knobs for the top and base.

A company did make 1/6 scale lamp posts, 26 inches tall, lighted too. You found them in home and garden websites, etc. I own two of them and they are perfect 1/6 scale and better detailed than the one in the photo you posted. I got them a few years ago from Fidalgo's Home Flair (search Google, they currently don't seem to have any).

Looking on Amazon, someone sells [ame="https://www.amazon.com/Byers-Choice-Lamp-Post/dp/B001FUWVEC/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1306373300&sr=8-14"]these[/ame], which are 22 inches. They aren't as nice as the ones I have but they are probably better than the one you posted.

I think Dragon/Cyber Hobby also made some, too, but they weren't necessarily victorian looking.

I actually took a deep dive at a few different stores last night and found all the parts I need to make one. The top part is what I originally thought I wouldn't be able to find a part for, hence the thread, but I'm good now and will start on it this weekend!

Post up some pics... would love to see what you come up with and what the final use of it will be :duff

Many years ago I picked up a pair of 1/6th scaled street lamps. They even came with little Christmas wreaths hung on them (which could be easily taken off, if one wished to.) They are about 2 and a half feet tall, give or take, and look amazing, especially when lit up. I use them as decorations during Christmas. Unfortunately they are packed up and in the attic but I'll see if I can get some pics of them posted. Perhaps the box will show where I ordered them from.

What I do remember is that the person that originally posted their availability was using them in little dioramas of Paris, France during WWII. He would have take pics of different figures standing near or leaning against the lamp posts. Looked amazing.

The one I'm making is coming along great! I'll be putting my first coat of paint on tonight, and this weekend I'll start some light weathering and see about wiring an LED in.

This is part of a custom dio/base I am making for my 1/6 VM Street Brawler Bill the Butcher!
