I have some of PopToys Last Samurai figures but don’t have much familiarity with them outside of that.

PopToys tends to have pretty good production tailoring. But the boots are already wrong for both. Also have to wonder if the jacket will be real leather on this.

Interested to see the headsculpt(s) for this but if their recent John Wick is anything to go by, it’s going to fall off quite a bit in production.

All that said, very interested to see the the full reveal

I wonder why there's so much interest all of a sudden?

The film and figures aren't for me except for the Darkstar pressure suit, but I keep adding the threads nevertheless.

Nine of them since 2021.

This new pair look like a re-run of EX052 and EX053 from 2022 and 2023, unless those never actually released.

What happened to the Pop Toys EX052/53?

Don’t think it went up on PO.

DID is releasing a similar figure with the white uniform but I want the Pop Toys with the full uniform.

I couldn't find any in hand photos of EX052 and EX053 from a quick search, so I think Pop put them on the back burner for some reason. Therefore the current tease is them actually getting round to making them.
