1/6 "Punk Rock Storm" from the 1980's Uncanny X-Men Comics

I kitbashed this using a Phicen Halle Berry figure . This is the second seamless body I've purchased and they kinda suck (joints are so tight they can snap and are difficult to pose) but I couldn't pass up a chance to mod this figure since my custom X-Men team's theme is 80's comic book outfit's with the actor's likeness from the film's.




Hehe...




Took the head apart, dremmel'd the hair, sanded it and put it back together.






... then I sealed up the seems, little bit more sanding then prepped for paint app's.

Tailored and studded (time consuming) the arm and neck band





All done with the outfit so snap on the head, dust her off and in the shelf with the other teammates (sorry about the phone camera pix)..

Nice work! I'm also most nostalgic for that period of the X-Men. Of course, Cyclops is the quintessential X-leader, but it was interesting to have Storm beat him for leadership back in the day.
