1/6 scale Custom Taun Taun

Hello Everyone,

I wanted share with you the exclusive 1/6 Taun Taun that Joel Haase is working on for collection wars. This work of art is incredible. It’s head, tail and front claws are posable and the horns swap out depending on which version you need( Han or Luke). The saddle is hand made, leather details are insane. The harness is just unbelievable. The faux fur/ hair make it look life like. Mounted on wooden base that is painted to imitate the cold planet of Hoth. The pics do not do this thing justice. Now I need to find me a Luke or Han to make this complete.

Looks to be a recast of the Sideshow "blowing out birthday candles" Taun head. I preferred the other more wide-eyed head, but he's improved the head a lot with the fur. The sculpted fur (and the way it was sculpted) was one of the reasons I didn't love the SSC version.

It looks great overall. The reins/harness is supposed to be webbing, not leather straps, but looks impeccably done and some might prefer that even if it's not accurate. The feet/toes aren't quite accurate either, but I love that he went with four toes rather than the three-toed "dino feet" style Sideshow did - big improvement.

From the pics it looks to be real leather too - so avoiding the pleather deterioration that the Sideshow Taun seems to be suffering from in a few places.
