Thanks, i like how the sweater looks on yours, might have to age it a bit, mine is like jimmie_Dimmick clean all around

Nope. Mine came exactly like that. I haven't even taken the plastic off the hands/feet. The sweater is very weathered but the pants are pretty clean. The neck hole of the sweater seems a little big but I figure that it's just a matter of futzing.

Hmmmm. Well consistency isn't one of SSC strong points to be fair. I had assumed that the lighting made Jimmie look cleaner than mine...

Finally got around to looking at the final product pics on SS. These make me feel better with keeping my order. As did the more recent video review. I'll probably be doing some work on him but will have to see.

Is anyone going to be offering up services on real metal blades? Screenshot_20170912-211412.jpgScreenshot_20170912-211329.jpgScreenshot_20170912-211351.jpg

Got mine in yesterday and I'm quite pleased with him. In photos I haven't really seen a strong likeness... but in hand I'm definitely getting a strong Englund vibe. The expression is good too; works for a lot of poses. I do which he had a few more left hands, but the assortment is reasonable. Paint is quite good on him too... maybe could use a bit more gloss in some areas; but it's top-notch work.

Gloved hands look really nice; the 3 pretty much cover anything I could think of.

Outfit is good overall; sweater neck opening seems a bit large; but I think that can be fixed. The pants are really tight at the ankle and it makes for an odd look between the skinny bottoms and big boots... I was able to get it looking okay, but I might see if I can find a better fitting pair.

The ab crunch is loose feeling on my figure as well... but it does seem to hold poses. So not a big issue for now, but it could be a problem if it stops holding poses.

Overall I'm very happy with the figure... if he was a bit cheaper I'd be over the mood. But even as it is, he's not bad for $200. Certainly better than $240 for Beetlejuice.

I was wondering why mine hadn't shipped yet, and I forgot he was on the payment plan and wouldn't ship until the end of December. I fixed that with one final payment. I can't wait to get him - the pics look great so far!

Well if anyone wants to know what it looks like underneath his hat.here is the video of someone who took the hat off.WARNING! be prepared for the feeling you will have after you watch.

Does anyone know if the crown of the hat overlaps the forehead, or if it rests on the ridge that indents around his crown? I'm wondering if I could lower the hat by removing it, and sanding down the top of the "nubby thing" inserted into the hat, similar to how the HT Darth Vader ANH helmet was modded. If I'd have to sand around the crown as well because the hat rests on it, that would be too much work for me. The hat is too far back on Freddy's head, which is the one thing preventing me from buying the figure. It bugs me.

I got mine today and overall I'm happy with my purchase. Question- I want a diorama for him to stand on...anyone have any ideas?

Maybe that ensures there will be another Freddy from another film, with a removable fedora and fully sculpted bonce.

When asked during a live video Sideshow said there would likely be more versions.

FedEx tried to deliver mine yesterday, a day early. Missed the driver, so it's on they way again today.

He's floppy like a rag doll at the ab joint like an old Prometheus 1.0 body.

Is that normal on this figure?

It could probably be tightened by shoving something inside like blue tack.

As a figure he looks great. For a Sideshow figure he exceeds rational expectations.

There's nothing about him that I don't like, apart from the weak feeling ab joint. He'll hold a pose, but at that point he moves too freely to fill you with confidence.

Damn I wish I had heard that earlier before keeping my order, I'd likely have canceled and waited for the next one.

But they could have said that just to keep interest in their brand. It sounds better than saying there probably won't be any more Freddy figures.

I think there probably will. But this current version is very good.

The figure is so easy to pose. You can do anything with him and he still looks good. So many options. Too many options! :lol

I'd be surprised if they do another one any time soon. Sure there is a huge fan base, but Part 3 for example, is 30 years old. If they were to make another one, it would likely be if another remake/reboot comes out, and would likely be based off of that. If anything, I'm hoping for one of everybody. They did a Jason, a Freddy, and they have a PFF for Pinhead, and Leatherface. It would be excellent if they came out with good 1/6 versions of Pinhead, Leatherface, and Michael Myers. Just hopefully based on the older movies....

I can't imagine them doing the remake Freddy. The film is redundant, and new Freddy looks odd.

This edition of only 1000 still hasn't sold out, so I doubt he's high on Sideshow's list of figures to make.
