I think if they don't change much (fabric choice, head size, and a better body) A lot of reputation will be at stake for them. Also when you release a prototype which is 90 pct there like hot toys does, consumer confidence goes a long way in bucketing orders for them during preorder! I understand their rational to put whatever they could due to the event timing, and have faith in them, but if they miss the mark post preorder release then pretty much that's that! And they won't make changes post that phase. So ideally I would have also preferred a 90pct plus prototype.
But on a good note - the sculpt is a great start and the base is also stunning! Accessories also look good so if they are listening / watching and observing this space - and fix a few things that people are talking about here - this will be a home run for them!
I have waited years for a company to challenge hot toys. The closest was enterbay! But they went down a miserable path with their nba crap! A path of no recovery!
I hope some of these new companies actually kick hot toys ***! That's what I want and that's why I want them to give us a near perfect Selene! Else they will be dismissed by collectors and hot toys alike!
