Two minimum is my general rule of thumb. I personally don't think you need the entire team for even this but at least 2-3.

My goal is to have Red + Green or Red, Green and White together. I dumped $60 into the Green Ranger today from Sideshow so hopefully that comes in next week. Will grab Red and White in the future.
I don’t have any of the Rangers yet, but personally I feel like Green or maybe White can stand alone and have shelf presence. I feel like the others are best served having the entire team. Otherwise I would get the Blue Ranger as he was my favorite as a kid.

Buying only one from the team is like saying if a complete set of 1:6 figures of The Beatles were made then you would only buy one member and skip the rest.

I purchased the complete set and will be buying the Previews exclusives as well.
Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate it and love the diverse opinions. I guess I'll open up the Red Ranger on new years and see if I like it. Contrary to most people, Jason and Trini are my fav rangers and I pretty much stopped watching after they left, and definitely when Zeo started. I don't mind getting the whole team but the real estate they would take up is something I can't afford. Maybe I'll change my mind once I unbox him!

I'm a completionist, I have to have the whole team. I got the six pack and I think they were worth every penny

As a general rule, I collect what means most to me. There are so many collectibles on the market now and particularly from licenses I love, it's impossible for space and financial reasons to collect whole collections.

My Power Rangers collecting is only from Mighty Morphin only and is pretty much limited to the following.
  • Green Ranger
  • White Ranger
  • Goldar
  • Lord Zedd
  • Dino Megazord
  • Dragonzord
  • Thunder Megazord
Outside of that, it would take exceptions to fit in. I am looking to get Lightning Collction Pirantishead, it's one of my favorite of Rita or Zedd's monsterrs.

For me if I picked up a single Ranger of the core 5 I’d probably be like the others have said… there would be an itch for the missing ones.

Considering picking up Green, I know some think the whole Tommy thing is overdone but I loved the Green Ranger when I was a kid, wasn’t overly fond of White though.

On the other hand does anyone know if there’s anywhere with the Dragon Shield Red Ranger still available to order in the UK? Everywhere I normally look is sold out or have never listed him.

I just wish that some company would finally fix the green rangers shield and have it slope downward so it stays flush with his shoulders. It's such a small detail, but once you see it it's impossible to un-notice.

Considering how we've seen some third-party offerings of 1:6 accessories/weapons for MCU characters to complement official and unofficial 1:6 figures, it could be a possibility provided there is a real want for it and a third-party is willing to take the risk $ wise to design and produce it.

If it happens I'd buy it. This is one of my favorite character. So much so that a few years back I bought a film quality reproduction of the costume. This is one of the characters where I'm a huge stickler for detail.

Film quality reproduction of the costume?

1:1 or 1:6?

As you can see in the pictures I posted on the previous page, the shield on the Ace Toyz 1/6 Green Ranger does this, assuming I understand what you're looking for.

Dragon Shield Red Ranger isn't available in the UK. The one place that did have him was Zavvi UK and they cancelled their orders a few months ago with no explanation. I re-ordered through BigBadToyStore as soon as my order got cancelled.

It looks like comics&cocktails.co.uk will have the future PX Previews to sell in the UK.

I'm a bit taller than the 5'4" stuntman they used in the Sentai so the proportions are always going to be a bit off, but here it is.
Love that suit, looks great on you! I considered this at one point but decided to go with Ghostbusters, a flightsuit is far more forgiving than spandex !

Thanks I was coming to the conclusion that BBTS might be the way to go.

I liked Tommy as a kid too. Still like the character in spite of Jason David Frank being kind of an ***.

I probably preferred the Green Ranger to the White Ranger slightly. Green looked slightly cooler in my opinion and I found Saba annoying. :lol

Lol, thank you. If I'm being honest il admit that I do wear a compression T-shirt under it, since you are correct about spandex being a bit unforgiving. A single gained or lost pound can make the difference between me being able to cosplay as Tommy; or Bulk. My 10th Doctor, Indiana Jones, or Captain America cosplays get much more rotation since Covid made me gain 10 pounds lol.

Just unboxed my Red Ranger (still contemplating if I should get the whole set!) but man is he tall, not that there's anything wrong with that but he definitely needs to be in some dynamic poses since he can look towering next to the other figures in my collection. It seems that the hands are a bit small and those vinyl chest diamond patter will definitely wrinkle in a few years.

Overall I could nitpick the figure some more like the fabric material and proportions but I can't think of any licensed 1/6 figures nowadays this reasonably priced. I've long left Power Rangers behind my life but I'm really glad I got this figure and I would definitely recommend at least one if you're on the fence.
